This charming 2AA Gloucestershire Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team.

With over 40+ traditionally luxurious and cosy rooms, the hotels 2AA restaurant serves sophistictated dishes created by the talented team to a very high standard using fresh, seasonal produce within the elegant and quaint surroundings. The seasonal menus combines the best of British with a few infusions from across the channel whilst celebrating the fantastic selection of ingredients.

As Pastry Chef de Partie you will need to have the ability to help lead the pastry section. You will adhere to the high standards that this propertyhas achievedwhilst working effectively as part ofthe team. You will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest of quality.

Main Duties of this Pastry Chef de Partie position are to:

  • Run a clean, tidy and organised environment at all times
  • Take direction and guidance from other team members
  • To produce chocolates for all outlets
  • Preparing scones for Afternoon Tea
  • Have a flexible ability and approach to daily tasks and responsibilities
  • To support in the management of stock control
  • To always maintain and drive the solid consistency of the products being produced on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Requirements for this Pastry Chef de Partie vacancy are:

  • Ideally NVQ levels 2&3
  • Experience working in an AA Rosette establishment
  • Hotel or Restaurant background
  • Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
  • Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
  • Good verbal and written English
