This village inn has 10+ comfy yet stylish rooms where guests can take a short walk to the Peak District with stunning views and landscape. The Hotel/restaurant serves delicious cuisine using fresh local seasonalingredients home grown within the grounds or sourced from nearby produces.

Specific requirements for this Chef de Partie opportunity are:

You will need to be an enthusiastic Chef de Partie that is willing to work hard and learn and be capable towork in a high volume, rosette accredited property and be qualified to NVQ Level 1 &/or 2.

As the Chef de Partie you will....

  • Aiding the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
  • Ordering of food
  • Carrying out stock checks
  • Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.
  • Training of the junior chefs
  • Up keeping the high standards that are already in place

This is a permanent position.

The person to suit must be experienced in fresh produce to at least 2 Rosette level, must have at least 18 months full time employment as a Chef with the same employer. Should also possess NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent, and hygiene certificate.
