Our West Yorkshire Clients Hotel is looking for a Breakfast Chef with experience, ambition, drive and enthusiasm to join their kitchen team. The perfect Breakfast Chef must be passionate and inspired by local, seasonal, fresh produce and ingredients.
Working alongside experienced and award winning senior chefs, this Breakfast Chef position would be covering breakfast through to lunch however from time to time you would will be expected to work on different sections. you should have a great attitude and willingness to learn new skills. You will be given further and on-going training to develop your skills as a chef and help you become the best chef you can be.
This Breakfast Chef role will include the following duties:
Maintain a fantastic role in producing all fresh food
Prepare dishes utilising the best of seasonal ingredients
Prepare elements of afternoon tea
Help with the preparation of banqueting menus and lunches
Be involved in the development of menus
Manage and maintain a safe working environment
Manage the cleanliness of your section
Be involved in stock control and orders.
Working alongside award winning senior chefs
Expected to work across different sections
Great attitude and willingness to learn essential
On-going training and development

This is a permanent position.
All applicants will have a stable CV with excellent traceable references. The person to suit must be experienced in fresh produce to at least 2 Rosette level, must have at least 18 months full time employment as a Chef with the same employer. Should also possess NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent, and hygiene certificate.
You must either be working in or a resident in the United Kingdom to apply for this position . You must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the United Kingdom to apply for this role, you must be a UK/EU Citizen and have ILR/PR status or hold a work permit /visa with at least 2 years remaining .
