This 35+ luxurious bedroom hotel has 2 award winning dining areas with menus incorporating modern techniques and trends using fresh seasonal ingredients and produce to match the elegant surroundings and decor for guests and customers to enjoy the the cuisine and dishes created by the talented kitchen team.

The busy pastry team are seeking acreativePastry Chef de Partie wth fair and an eye for detail to join the team in producing indulgent ranges of desserts and sweet treats. From large functions to mini desserts for the afternoon tea pastries both classic and contemporary, this role has a great opportunity for a Pastry Chef de Partie with some experience to develop their career in pastry.

Main Duties of this Pastry Chef de Partie opportunity:

  • The day to day running of your pastry section
  • Informing senior chefs of ordering requirements
  • Carrying out stock checks
  • Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control
  • Training of the junior chef
  • Up keeping the high standards that are already in place

Requirements for this Pastry Chef de Partie vacancy are:

  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • Good written and spoken English
  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • Good Team Player
  • Previous supervisory experience - advantageous
