This Norfolk Rosette Hotel is looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to join their award winning and professional kitchen team.

The 20+ luxurious Norfolk Hotel serves food to guests and customers to high standards using fresh seasonal and locally sourced produce and ingredients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of this Sous Chef opportunity are:

  • Lead, coordinate and motivate the team
  • Plan the day to day running of all sections of the kitchen
  • Communicate directly with kitchen team
  • Carry out quality checks on stock, produce and dishes
  • Have a flexible ability to respond to business and client needs
  • Ensure daily food preparation meets recipe and specification
  • Attend all relevant meetings
  • Suggest recipes and menu planning ideas

As Sous Chef you must be:

  • Hardworking and a dedicated individual who has an ability and passion to learn and develop
  • Experience working in a managment role, able to motivate and run a kitchen in Head Chefs absence
  • Experienced in using fresh ingredients, in a busy high volume establishment
  • Educated to NVQ 1&2 or equivalent
  • Food hygiene certificate
